Her career was then overshadowed by drug abuse and many wondered if the
talented artist inside her would ever shine again. Well, it has, and
Whitney Houston has put her life back where it once was, and finished work
and a new album. Many are claiming this is album, I Look To You, is going
to be one of the most promises albums to hit stores in a very log time.
Back in the 1990's Whitney Houston's sound was like no other, with a
powerful voice and ballads that brought people to tears. Today, many
wonder if after a fifteen year hiatus from the music industry, if this
album will be a grand return or a final farewell.
Honestly, she is an icon and one of the greatest vocal performers of all
time and that it seems is why so many in the music business and in the
general public are rooting for her comeback to be a success.
There is a scheduled release date, for I Look to You, of August 31st, and
many have already pre ordered their copies, with the hope it will be
nothing but amazing. While you are waiting for you copy here are some

So far the song I Look to You is available for the listening to, and I
have to say, it sounds as if she is very sad. Her voice is a little less
powerful, but mostly she sounds a little hesitant and melancholy. Perhaps
it has been the whole whirlwind of a life that she has been living lately,
or perhaps she has been left with a broken heart. One thing is for
certain she still has an amazing voice and the music and lyrics are
excellent. The sound is a little different from what we heard back in the
mid 90s but who hasn't changed over the last 15 years right?
