How to Make Old Fashion Prune Cake and Strawberry Shortcut Cake

are for Prune Cake which starts with a yellow cake mix and uses lemon
filling. Strawberry Shortcut Cake is a recipe from my childhood. It is a
great sheet cake.

Old Fashion Prune Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup cut-up, pitted, uncooked prunes
1 cup chopped nuts
Your favorite lemon filling
Whipped cream

Cover prunes with boiling water and let sit for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a jellyroll pan; set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add
the eggs, oil, and water; mix thoroughly. Drain the prunes and add to the
mixture. Pour mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle the nuts over the
batter. Bake about 35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the
center comes out clean, at 350 degrees. Cool cake completely then cut in
half crosswise. Place one piece on a serving plate. Cover the top with
your favorite lemon filling. Pipe whipped cream around the top edge of the
cake with a smaller circle of whipped cream in the center. Garnish with
some nut halves, if desired. Also pipe whipped cream around the bottom
edge of the cake, if desired.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCUT CAKE

This recipe is from a lady who ran a country store with her husband when I
was a child.

1 cup miniature marshmallows
2 cups frozen strawberries
3 oz pkg strawberry gelatin
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle marshmallows over the bottom of
the baking pan. Combine strawberries and dry gelatin; set aside. Combine
the flour and the remaining ingredients; beat at low speed of an electric
mixer until moistened. Pour batter over the marshmallows in pan. Spoon
strawberry mixture over the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50
minutes. Serve topped with whipped cream.

BAKED SQUASH TEXAS-STYLE

5 lb medium-sized yellow squash

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup whole-grain bread crumbs + additional for topping

1 stick butter

1/4 cup Splenda

2 tbsp chopped onion

salt to taste

dash of black pepper

Cut tips off squash and cut each into about 4 pieces. Drop squash into a
saucepan with enough boiling water to cover all the pieces. Return to
boiling. Reduce heat and cook until tender. Drain in a colander; mash
with a fork or masher. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into a
casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Top
with additional bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.

CAULIFLOWER WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE

1 med head of cauliflower

2 cups water

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 tsp dry mustard

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp mayonnaise

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Wash cauliflower, remove stems and leaves and cut into bite-size pieces.
Add water to a large saucepan and add cauliflower. Cover and cook for
about 10 minutes, until tender; drain. Spray a medium baking dish with
nonstick cooking spray. Layer the cauliflower in the dish. Sprinkle with
the salt and pepper. Combine mustard and mayonnaise in a small bowl and
mix well. Spread mixture over the cauliflower. Sprinkle cheese and salad
seasoning over the top. Bake at 350 until bubbly, about 10 minutes.

Note: For the busy cook, use frozen cauliflower florets and start by
layering the cauliflower in the baking dish. This is a great timesaver on
busy week nights.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS WITH YOGURT AND PIMENTO

2 (10-oz) pkgs frozen brussels sprouts

1/2 cup thinly sliced onion

1 tsp butter, melted

1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (preferably low-fat)

2 (4-oz) jars diced pimiento, drained

Cook brussels sprouts according to the package directions, omitting the
salt and butter. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, saute the
onion in the butter. Remove from the heat. Add the yogurt, pimiento, and
brussels sprouts to the onion in the skillet; stir well to mix. Cook over
low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Serve while warm.

This is a good diabetic dish as there are half as many proteins as carbs
in this brussels sprouts dish.

Brahama Yoga in Hindu Astrology

Sagittarius born natives that in place of 10th Lord, Lagna Lord
may be considered.

Summing up. It can be said that Brahma Yoga is possible in respect of all
the signs except Aries, Cancer and Virgo. But partial Brahma Yoga had
been noted to give full/partial results i.e. if four combinations are
needed to form a yoga, then the presence of tow three combination may
suffice. Braham yoga is present with slight modification in his chart. It
may be noted that Jupiter is in a Kendra from the lord of the 9th i.e.
Venus. Venus is in Kendra from the lord of the 11th i.e. the Moon. Since
Lagna is Virgo one defect would remains.

and while it could be that Wenham's agent is trying to get his name out
there for a certain part, it's just as likely that some overzealous Lord
of the Rings fan is trying to do some casting of their own. Wenham's name
under there as "rumored" has about as much validity as a mention on
Wikipedia: not much.

Oh, and there's one more issue -- as discussed in this forum post, Arthas
himself probably won't even be in the Warcraft movie, if what Blizzard
told us at BlizzCon a little while back is to be believed. Back at the
BlizzCon 2007 movie panel, we were told by the panel (including Chris
Metzen) that the movie is supposed to start a year before WoW begins,
which means Arthas is sitting up in Icecrown doing a whole lot of
nothing. When fans specifically asked about Arthas, we were told that
while the movie would certainly reference him, it likely wouldn't focus
on him at all. So while Wenham (or his fans) may be angling for the part
of Arthas, even if he got it, he probably wouldn't get much screen time
anyway.

Of course, that's assuming that what we were told two years ago still
holds. Gary Whitta, who worked on a screenplay for the film, says that
Sam Raimi has his own ideas about the movie, so, as BlizzPlanet points
out, maybe he wants Arthas front and center. But for now, the David
Wenham rumor is still just a made-up rumor, and a really thin one at
that. Wow accounts in games are valuable and they worth a lot to the
